Ingredients 3 cups sliced onion (6 medium) 3 tbsp butter or margarine 1/4 cup dry sherry 1/2 tsp sugar 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Method In a 10-inch covered skillet cook onions in butter about 10 minutes or until tender but not brown, stirring occasionally. Add sherry, sugar, 1/2 tsp salt and dash pepper. Cook, uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn into a serving dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Serves 4.
