American-Fried Potatoes Recipe |

Ingredients 2 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes 2 tbsp bacon drippings or cooking oil
Method In a large skillet add potatoes to hot bacon drippings or oil. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Turn potatoes and cook, uncovered, over medium-high heat about 5 minutes, loosening once or twice. Makes 4 servings.
