Sesame Asparagus Recipe |

Ingredients 2 8-ounce packages frozen cut asparagus 1 2-1/2 ounce jar sliced mushrooms, drained 2 tbsp butter or margarine 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tsp sesame seed, toasted
Method Cook frozen asparagus according to package directions. Drain well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Gently stir in mushrooms, butter, and lemon juice. Cook until heated through. Turn mixture into a serving bowl; sprinkle with sesame seed. Makes 6 servings.
Microwave directions: Place frozen asparagus in a 1 1/2-quart nonmetal casserole. Cook, covered, in a counter-top microwave oven on high power about 10 minutes or till tender, stirring twice. Drain well. Season. Gently stir in mushrooms, butter, and lemon juice. Micro-cook, covered, about 2 minutes or till heated through, stirring once. Turn into a serving bowl; sprinkle with sesame seed.
