Lemon-Parsleyed Turnips Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound turnips(3 medium), peeled and cut into strips, cubes, or slices

1 tbsp butter or margarine

1 tbsp snipped parsley

2 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp finely chopped onion

 

Method

Cook turnip and onion as directed on cooking vegetables just till tender. Drain well. Add butter or margarine, parsley, lemon juice, and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Stir gently to coat. Makes 4 servings.
