Herbed Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound green beans or two 9-ounce packages frozen cut green beans

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped celery

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter or margarine

1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed

1/4 tsp dried basil, crushed

 

Method

Cut fresh green beans into 1-inch piece and cook as directed in cooking vegetables. (Or, cook frozen beans according to package directions.) Drain. Cook onions , celery, and garlic in butter till vegetables are tender. Stir in herbs. Add beans' toss lightly. Cover; heat through. Season with salt. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
