Green Beans Amandine Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound green beans or two 9-ounce packages frozen French-style green beans

2 tbsp slivered almonds

2 tbsp butter or margarine

1 tsp lemon juice

 

Method

Cut fresh beans French-style and cook as directed cooking vegetables. (Or, cook frozen beans according to package directions.) Drain. Cook almonds in butter over low heat, stirring occasionally, till golden. Remove from heat; add lemon juice. Pour over beans. Serves 6.
