Golden Crumb Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds broccoli or three 10-ounce packages frozen cut broccoli

1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1/4 cup shredded American cheese

1 tbsp chopped pimiento

1 1/2 tsp lemon juice

1/3 cup crushed round cheese crackers

Oven 350o

 

Method

Cut up fresh broccoli to make about 6 cups and cook as direction in cooking vegetables. (Or, cook frozen broccoli according to package directions. ) Drain well. Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Mix soup, mayonnaise, cheese, pimiento, and lemon juice. Pour over broccoli. Top with crushed crackers. Bake, uncovered, in a 350o oven for 35 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
