Beets with Pineapple Recipe |

Ingredients 2 cups sliced beets or one 16-ounce can sliced beets 1 tbsp brown sugar 2 tsp cornstarch 1 8 1/4-ounce can crushed pineapple 1 tbsp butter or margarine 1 tbsp lemon juice
Method Prepare and cook fresh beets as directed in cooking vegetables. Drain, or drain canned beets. In a saucepan combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and dash salt. Stir in undrained pineapple. Cook and stir over medium heat about 5 minutes or till heated through. Serves 4.
