Baked Ham-Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe |

Ingredients: 22 fresh mushrooms, 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter 1/4 cup chopped green onion 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon dried savory, crushed 2 tablespoons dry white wine 1/2 cup finely chopped, fully cooked ham 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs Oven 350o
Method: Wash mushrooms; drain. Remove stems from mushrooms; reserve caps. Chop stems to make 1 cup. Cook chopped stems and green onion in butter or margarine just till tender. Stir in flour, savory, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper; add wine and 2 tablespoons water. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly; stir in ha, and Parmesan, Fill mushroom caps with ham mixture. Place mushrooms in a 15x- 10x 1-inch baking pan. Top with bread crumbs. Bake in a 350o oven for 15 to 20 minutes or till tender. Makes 24.
