Waldorf Salad Recipe |

Ingredients 4 medium apples 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup halved seedless green grapes 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing 1 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1/2 cup whipping cream ground nutmeg
Method Core and dice apples (to make about 4 cups). In a large bowl sprinkle cut-up apples with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Add celery, grapes, walnuts, and raisins.
For dressing, in a small bowl combine
mayonnaise or salad dressing, sugar, adn1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Whip
cream just till soft peaks for, Fold whipped cream into the mayonnaise
mixture; spoon over the apple mixture. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
Cover and chill. To serve, fold dressing into fruit mixture. Makes 8 to
10 servings. Per 1/8 serving: 24 g carbohydrates, 289 calories, 22 g fat, 2 g Protein, 99 mg sodium
