Red Wine Dressing Recipe

In a screw-top jar combine 1 cup salad oil; 1/3 cup vinegar; 1/3 cup dry red wine; 1 teaspoon sugar; 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed; 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed; 1/4 teaspoon salt; and 1 clove garlic. Cover and shake well to mix. Chill. Remove garlic; shake again just before serving. Makes 1 2/3 cups.
