Cheddar Macaroni Salad Recipe

Ingredient

1 cup elbow or shell macaroni

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/3 cup chopped celery

3 tbsp chopped green pepper

2 tbsp chopped onion

1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1/4 cup dairy sour cream

2 tbsp French Dressing

1 tbsp sweet pickle relish

 

Method

Cook macaroni in a large amount of boiling salt water till tender; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain well. Toss with cheese; celery, green pepper, and onion. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, French Dressing, and relish. Toss with macaroni mixture. Cover; chill several hours. Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
