Bavarian Slaw Salad Recipe |

If you love the flavor of bacon, use it as we do -- for flavor. Even with the bacon in this salad, each serving still has only 2 g of fat....low fat and low carb.
Ingredients 1 pound small (2-iunch) red-skinned potatoes 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt 1/4 cup nonfat mayonnaise 2 teaspoons crushed caraway seeds 1 large Red Delicious apple 12 1/2 cups chopped green cabbage 1/2 cup chopped green onion 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Method Cooked potatoes in boiling water to cover 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Drain and cool; cut into 1-inch cubes.
Combine yogurt and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Core (but don't peel) apple, and cut into 1/2 inch cubes; add to yogurt mixture, and mix. Add potatoes, cabbage, green onion, and bacon; mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
