Broiled Shrimp Recipes

Ingredients

2      pounds fresh or frozen large shrimp in shells

1/4   cup butter or margarine, melted

2 tablespoons lemon juice
Dash bottled hot pepper sauce
 

Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Remove shells and devein. Combine butter, lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce. Brush some mix- hue over shrimp.
 

To broil in the oven, place shrimp on a well-greased broiler rack and broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 4 minutes. Turn and brush with butter mixture Broil 2 to 4 minutes more or till shrimp are done . To cook on an outdoor grill, thread shrimp on skewers and grill over hot coals for 4 minutes.

 

Turn and brush with butter mixture. Grill 4 to 5 minutes more or till shrimp are done. Season shrimp lightly with salt. Makes 6 servings.
