Brandy Hard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened

1 cups sifted powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1-2 tbsp brandy or rum

 

Method

In a small mixer bowl cream together softened butter or margarine and powdered sugar with electric mixer. Beat in vanilla. Beat 1-2 tbsp brandy or rum into creamed mixture. Spoon into a serving bowl; chill. To serve, sprinkle lightly with ground nutmeg. Makes 2/3 cups (11 servings).
