Begin by cutting off the peel and the
white membrane, using a very sharp utility knife, or a serrated knife
for peeling citrus fruits.

Remove the sections by cutting into the
center of the fruit between one section and the membrane.

Then turn the knife and slide the knife
down the other side of the section next to the membrane.

Remove any seeds.

Allow the grapefruits or orange sections
to fall into a bowl along with any juice.
