Remove the crown by holding the pineapple
in one hand and the crown in the other; twist in opposite directions.

Trim the top and the base.

Cut off wide strips of peel with a knife,
starting at the top of the fruit and working down.

Remove the eyes by making narrow
wedge-shaped grooves in the pineapple.

Cut diagonally around the fruit,
following the pattern of the eyes.

Cut into spears or chunks.
