Pineapple-Glazed Chicken Recipes |

Ingredients 1 8 1/4-ounce can crushed pineapple 1/2 cup chili sauce or hot-style catsup 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon prepared mustard 2 2 1/2- to 3-pound broiler0fryer chicken, halved lengthwise Cooking oil salt
Method For sauce, drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Combine pineapple, reserved syrup, chili sauce or catsup, sugar, and mustard.
Break wing, hip, and drumstick joints of chickens; twist wing tips under back. Brush chickens lightly with oil; season with salt. Grill chickens over medium-hot coals, bone side down, for 25 to 30 minutes or till bone side is well browned. Turn chickens. Drill 20 minutes more. Turn chickens again. Spoon sauce atop. Grill 5 to 10 minutes more till chickens are done. Makes 12 servings.
