Rocky-Road Frosting Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup tiny marshmallows

2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate, cut up

1/4 cup butter or margarine

2 to 2 1/4 cups sifted powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup tiny marshmallows

1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

 

Method:

In a saucepan combine 1 cup marshmallows, chocolate, butter, and 1/4 cup water. Cook and stir over low heat till marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Cool slight. Add 2 cups powdered sugar and vanilla; beat by hand about 2 minutes or till smooth and of spreading consistency. If necessary add additional powdered sugar. Stir in 1 cup marshmallows and walnuts. Frosts top of a 13x9-inch cake.

 

Per serving (1/12 of serving): 184 calories, 1 g protein, 26 g carbohydrates, 10 g fat, 51 mg Sodium
