Broiled Coconut Topping Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

2 tablespoons milk

1 cup flaked coconut

 

Method:

In a mixer bowl beat brown sugar and butter or margarine till fluffy. Stir in milk. Stir in coconut; spread over warm cake in pan. Broil 4 inches from heat 3 to 4 minutes or till golden. Serve warm. Frost top of a 9x9-inch cake. (Double recipe for top of one 13x9-inch cake.)

 

Per serving (1/9 of serving): 132 calories, 1 g protein, 13 g carbohydrates, 9 g fat, 55 mg Sodium
