Veal Patties Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground veal

1 tsp salt

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

dash pepper

1 slightly beaten egg

2 tbsp water

1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs

2 tbsp butter or margarine

 

Method

Combine veal, salt, lemon juice, paprika, nutmeg, and pepper; mix well. Shape meat mixture into 6 patties. Combine the egg and water. Dip patties into egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. In a large skillet melt butter or margarine. Add patties; cook over medium-high heat to desired doneness, turning once (allow 12 to 15 minutes total times for medium). Makes 6 servings.
