Roasted Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tablespoons cooking oil

3/4 cup catsup

1/4 cup lemon juice

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoon  Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon prepared mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce

6 pork loin chops or rib chops, cut 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches thick

 

Method

For sauce, in a serving cook onion and garlic in hot cooking oil till tender but not brown. Stir in catsup and next 6 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring once or twice. Sprinkle chops with slat. Place chops in a wire grill basket. Grill chops over medium coals about 25 minutes. Turn meat and grill about 20 minutes more or till done, brushing with sauce occasionally. Serves 6.
