Broiled Short Ribs Recipe |

Ingredients 4 pounds beef round short ribs, cut into serving-size pieces 2/3 cup catsup 1/4 cup light molasses 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tbsp dry mustard 1/2 tsp chili powder dash garlic powder
Method Trim excess fat from ribs. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper. Place ribs in a Dutch oven; add water to cover. Simmer, covered, about 2 hours or till meat is tender. Drain; place ribs on an unheated rack in a broiler pan. Combine catsup, molasses, lemon juice, mustard, chili powder, and garlic powder; brush some over ribs. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat for 10 to 15 minutes, turning often and basting with catsup mixture. Makes 6 servings.
