Apple-Peanut-Buttered Pork Steaks Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup apple butter

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1/4 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel

2 tablespoons orange juice

4 pork shoulder blade steaks, cut 3/4-inch thick( 2 pounds)

 

Method

Blend apple butter into peanut butter; add orange peel and juice. Season steaks with a little salt and pepper. Grill over medium coals about 15 minutes. Turn steaks; brush with apple butter mixture. Grill 15 to 20 minutes more. Brush on remaining mixture. Makes 4 servings.

 

Note: If desired, 1 1/4-inch thick steaks. Grill 25 minutes. Turn and grill about 25 minutes more or till done.  Makes 8 servings.
